In the quiet of the norms, Moving through time, I realize, It is my disagreement with my fate, That made me who I am Rivers flow as time flows, Memories are made and promises too, They wade away eventually, Into the silence We come as we go, Enriched and rejuvenated, With light and life, Closer to God, Closer to our own If there was a singular fate, to trap us all, how wondrous it would be, to hold each other, and just breathe, how wondrous it would be, to carry one another, in our hearts and minds, we are one after all If there was only a color, to bind us all, what color would it be? would it touch us where the truth lies, or would it be elusive to the soft cries, would it shade our loom and shine through? we are in the gray after all If there was a love, to elevate us to who we really are, and find that child in us that no one seems to see, All would be forgiven, none would be forsaken, joys would be abound, and sorrows farther If there was a moment I could capture, to see myself through my own eyes, I would keep it as a treasure I would keep it alive I would rejoice for no reason As I rejoice now for my lamentations and the beauty inside me While I share my reflections, My reflections on a snowy day...
I love taking long walks and my recent endeavor inspired this poem..hope you enjoyed it
